Terms of Service

Courtesy translation. The binding text is the Spanish version. If the two differ, the Spanish version prevails.

1. Who provides the service

In this document, "EdgeFlow", "we" or "the service" refer to that person; "you" or "the user", to whoever uses the platform.

2. What EdgeFlow is and what it is not

EdgeFlow is charting and order-flow analytics software. It shows prices, volume, volume profile, large trades, the order book and technical indicators for crypto assets — perpetuals and spot — and for other instruments listed on the exchanges we support. It also provides an interface for sending orders to your own account at those exchanges, and a conversational assistant that runs on third-party artificial-intelligence models.

EdgeFlow is not, and nothing in the service should be read as it being:

  • a broker, securities intermediary, exchange house or financial services provider;
  • an order router or a trading venue: we do not match orders and we do not make markets;
  • a custodian: we never receive, hold or move your funds, which remain at all times in your exchange account;
  • an investment adviser or a provider of personalised recommendations;
  • an entity registered, authorised or supervised by Chile's Financial Market Commission (CMF) or by any other regulator.

Nothing the platform displays — indicators, signals, market context, assistant answers — constitutes investment advice, an offer, a recommendation or an invitation to trade. The decisions are yours.

What it does not do today. As of the last update of this document, EdgeFlow executes no order without your express confirmation: automatic execution of signals and bots that trade with real money are disabled at the platform level. If they are enabled in the future, they will also require an explicit activation by you and acceptance of a specific notice, and we will tell you under section 13.

3. Your account

To use EdgeFlow you must be 18 or over and have capacity to enter into binding obligations. The service is not directed at minors.

You undertake to give truthful information and to keep it up to date. One account belongs to one person: it is not shared, assigned or resold.

You are responsible for everything that happens with your access credentials. Signing in is done by a single-use link sent to your email or through your Google account, so the security of your inbox is the security of your EdgeFlow account: look after it and turn on two-step verification there.

We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms, fraud, abuse of the service or a requirement from a competent authority. Unless the law or an authority's order prevents it, we will tell you the reason and, where the breach can be cured, give you a reasonable opportunity to cure it. If the suspension is not due to a breach by you, we refund the unused proportional part of the plan.

4. Connecting exchanges: how it works and who answers

This section describes the most important and most dangerous part of the service. Read all of it.

What you connect. To trade from EdgeFlow you have to create an API key pair at your exchange (and, at some, a passphrase) and load it into the platform. Those keys are what authorise EdgeFlow to read your account and to send orders on your behalf.

Permissions we require and recommend.

  • The key must not have withdrawal permission enabled. EdgeFlow never withdraws or transfers funds out of your exchange account and does not need that permission for anything. We check it when connecting and warn you if it is on.
  • We recommend restricting the key by IP address at the exchange. Note that some exchanges, such as Bybit, expire keys without an IP restriction after 90 days: if that happens, the connection stops working until you load a new key.
  • Only read and trade permissions are needed (futures and, if you are going to use it, spot). Any additional permission is attack surface we do not use.

How they are stored. Your keys are stored encrypted with AES-256-GCM and are never shown back on screen or sent to the browser. You can delete them from the platform whenever you want; once you do, we can no longer read your account or send orders.

Who does what with an order. When you confirm an order in EdgeFlow, we build it and send it to the exchange using your credentials. From there on the exchange is in charge: it decides whether to accept or reject it, at what price it fills, with what fee, when, and on what conditions it liquidates a position. EdgeFlow controls and guarantees none of that.

Consequently, and without prejudice to section 12, we are not answerable for: fills at a price other than expected, slippage, rejections, orders not filled or partially filled, fees and funding, liquidations and auto-deleveraging, latency or network outages, maintenance, changes to the exchange's rules, margins or leverage, delistings, or the insolvency, hacking or suspension of operations of the exchange.

Demo and live. Every connection is marked as demo (testnet) or live. In demo there is no real money. Before trading live you will have to expressly acknowledge the Risk Disclosure. Always check which mode you are in.

What you declare. By connecting an exchange you declare that the account is yours, that you are authorised to trade it, that you comply with that exchange's terms and with the rules applicable to you, and that your use of EdgeFlow does not breach any restriction of your jurisdiction.

Keep control outside. Access to your exchange account remains yours and is independent of EdgeFlow. Keep the exchange's app installed and accessible and, above all, load your stops at the exchange and not only in EdgeFlow: if our platform is unavailable, your positions are still live.

5. Artificial-intelligence assistant

The assistant generates text using third-party models (today: Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic and Groq, depending on configuration). The details are in the AI Assistant Terms.

The essentials:

  • It can be wrong. Answers can be inaccurate, out of date or outright false. They are not investment, legal or tax advice, and you must not take them as such.
  • It proposes, it does not execute. The assistant can propose an order or another action on your account. That proposal does nothing until you confirm it with a button. When you confirm, the order travels to your exchange with your credentials, exactly as if you had entered it by hand, and everything in section 4 applies. The result we report comes from the exchange's response, not from the model.
  • With your own key (BYOK). You can configure your own AI provider key. In that case the use is also governed by that provider's terms, the key is yours and you pay whatever cost it generates. We store the key encrypted and you can delete it whenever you want.
  • With our keys there is a monthly message quota depending on the plan, published on Plans.
  • Memory. Whatever you ask it to remember is stored against your account, is short text, and you can read and delete it whenever you want.

6. Plans, prices and payments

The current plans, what each one includes and their limits are published on Plans. We do not repeat them here so this document does not go stale; the plans page governs the content of each plan.

Trial. When you register you get a trial of the highest plan for 14 days, at no cost and with no need to load any payment method. When it ends, the account moves to the free plan: nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel.

Prepaid, per period, no automatic renewal. Paid plans are purchased in advance for a given period. There is no recurring charge and no direct debit: when the period ends, the plan simply expires and you return to the free plan. We will never charge you without a new order from you.

Payment method. Today payment is made in USDT from your own wallet, over the networks indicated at the time of payment. The plan is activated when the network confirms the payment. The conditions of those payments — amounts, mistakes, refunds and the withdrawal right — are in Refunds and payments, which is part of these terms.

Other methods in the future. If we later enable card payment through a third party acting as Merchant of Record, that charge will also be governed by that third party's terms and privacy policy, and we will tell you before you can use it.

Granted plans. We may grant a plan at no cost, with or without an expiry date, at our discretion (team, partners, support, compensation). A granted plan creates no charge, does not renew on its own and we may revoke it with notice, unless it was given as compensation for a breach of ours.

Taxes. Prices are expressed in United States dollars (USD/USDT). Whatever taxes apply given your country and your situation are for your account, unless Chilean law provides otherwise.

7. Withdrawal right and refunds

Everything concerning the right of withdrawal, refunds and the handling of payment mistakes is in Refunds and payments.

8. Acceptable use

You may not:

  • use EdgeFlow for illegal activities, or to circumvent sanctions, exchange controls or restrictions applicable to you;
  • use the platform to manipulate the market: fictitious orders, layering and mass cancellations (spoofing, layering), trades crossed against yourself (wash trading), or any equivalent practice;
  • use EdgeFlow to circumvent your exchange's limits, rules or controls, including rate, position or leverage limits;
  • share, assign or resell your account, or give access to third parties;
  • automate access to the platform — scraping, custom clients, interface robots — except through the interfaces EdgeFlow expressly provides for that;
  • attempt to breach the security of the service, access other users' data, reverse-engineer the software, or deliberately overload the infrastructure;
  • redistribute, resell or publish the market data you receive through EdgeFlow.

9. Intellectual property

The software, the interface, our own indicators, the documentation, the trade marks and the design of EdgeFlow belong to us or to our licensors and are protected by law. We give you a personal, limited, revocable and non-transferable licence to use the service in accordance with these terms; we transfer no other right to you.

What you upload — your settings, your annotations, your messages to the assistant — remains yours. You authorise us to process it only to the extent necessary to provide you with the service, under the Privacy Policy.

10. Market data

Prices, volume, the order book and other data come from the exchanges and from data providers. They can lag, be interrupted, arrive incomplete or be wrong, and they can differ from what your exchange shows. Indicators are computed on that data, so they inherit its defects.

The data is provided for your personal use inside the platform. You may not redistribute it, resell it or use it to build a competing product.

11. Service availability

We work to keep EdgeFlow available, but we do not guarantee continuity, absence of errors or any particular latency. There can be scheduled and unscheduled outages, degradations and lost connections.

For that reason, and because your positions stay open even when the platform is not there: always keep an alternative means of managing them — your exchange's app or website — and keep your stops loaded at the exchange. Do not depend on EdgeFlow to close or protect a position.

12. Liability

We are answerable for direct damages we cause you through our fault in providing the service, capped at the total of what you have paid us in the 12 months before the event that caused the damage. If you paid us nothing in that period, the cap is 50 dólares de los Estados Unidos.

We are not answerable for lost profits, for loss of opportunity, or for the losses of your trades: the outcome of trading is yours, and it depends on your decisions and on the market.

Nor are we answerable for the acts of third parties we do not control: exchanges, market data providers, artificial-intelligence model providers, blockchain networks, internet or infrastructure providers, or for acts of God or force majeure.

None of the above limits our liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, for personal injury, or in anything that Chilean Law 19,496 on consumer protection or another rule of public order does not allow to be limited. If any limitation in this section turns out to be invalid, it will be reduced to the maximum the law allows and the rest will remain in force.

13. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. When the change is material — that is, when it affects your rights, the price, liability or the scope of the service — we will tell you at least 15 days in advance, by email and with a visible notice inside the platform, stating what changes and from when.

During that period you may terminate the contract at no cost. If you had a paid plan in force and the change is to your detriment, we refund the unused proportional part.

Later use of the platform counts as acceptance only after that prior notice and once you have expressly recorded acceptance of the new version when signing in again. Non-material changes — wording corrections, clarifications, contact updates — take effect on publication.

All earlier versions remain published in the version history, and the exact version you accepted is recorded in our systems with its date.

14. Termination

You can close your account whenever you want from the settings. When you do, your API keys, your settings and the associated data are deleted, with the exceptions detailed in the Privacy Policy.

Closing the account does not by itself cancel any positions you have open at your exchange: you have to do that yourself, at the exchange.

We may terminate the contract on 30 days' notice, refunding the unused proportional part of your plan, or immediately in the cases in section 3.

Sections 9, 10, 12, 15 and any accrued payment obligations survive termination.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

This contract is governed by Chilean law. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of Santiago, Chile.

If you are a consumer resident outside Chile, the above does not deprive you of the non-waivable rights granted to you by the law of your country of habitual residence, nor of the right to bring a claim before the courts that law recognises for you.

If you are a consumer in Chile, you can complain to the National Consumer Service (SERNAC) without prejudice to any court action available to you.
